How to prepare for this application

Please allow time for the following tasks prior to starting your application:

  • Read the 2021 Elected Director Position Description and ensure you are eligible and able to perform the duties described
  • Review the 2021 Board Capability Gap Statement
  • Download and complete the 2021 Capability Framework and email or share it with Company Secretary (companysecretary@ewb.org.au) when complete as per the instructions. This information will be used by the Strategy & Nominations Committee if you are successful to support committee appointments and your capability development. You will also use this to complete Section 2 Question 3 of the application form. 
  • Find a Seconder and confirm they are eligible (paid voting member). If you would like to check your membership status, please access your member dashboard on the EWB website.
  • Record a short video of yourself (1-3 mins) to introduce yourself, give an idea you wish to nominate for the EWB Australia Board, and answer the question 'if you could have a superpower for a day, what would it be?'. Email completed videos to Company Secretary (companysecretary@ewb.org.au) and Kelsie Clarke (k.clarke@ewb.org.au)


Please note:

A fully completed nomination form must be received, including consent from the nominee of their acceptance, evidence that a police check has been ordered, and a short video application, at least 14 clear days before the meeting. 

The cut off date for all material to be submitted is midnight Sunday 31st October 2021.

In order to allow your Seconder two business days to confirm your nomination, we encourage you to apply by no later than midnight on 29th October 2021.

Minimum days and timetable requirements are set in the Constitution of EWB Australia Limited and are not subject to discretion or change.
